Integration of ESG into
Leadership Systems
This fiscal year, ESG has been fully
integrated into Wine Group’s existing
leadership system.
ESG oversight is embedded within the board of
directors, executive management, and leadership
team, with the CEO serving as a member of all
three groups. Strategic sustainability topics are
discussed at the board level, which will now receive
regular updates on ESG targets and initiatives.
Policy approvals and sustainability goals are
overseen by the leadership team and formally
approved by the executive management.
Department heads are responsible for
implementing relevant ESG initiatives that align
with corporate strategy. The sustainability manager
presents ESG progress at leadership meetings at
regular intervals and at board meetings as needed.
The CFO holds overall responsibility for ESG data
collection and reporting, while the sustainability
manager oversees operational data collection
within Wine Group.
