OWN EMPLOYEES
At Wine Group, our employees are our most valuable resource. Their
well-being, safety, and development are the foundation of our growth
and success.
We are committed to creating a
workplace that embraces individuality
and diversity. Whether employees work
in retail, warehouse operations, Power BI
development, or as key account managers
for HORECA, it is our responsibility to ensure
they thrive in a positive work environment
with strong leadership.
For us, equality means ensuring equal rights
and opportunities, including: Equal access
to career opportunities and leadership roles,
equal pay for equal work, competence
development and consideration of
employees' different needs. A healthy work
environment must be ensured at all levels of
the organisation, regardless of gender.
Our employees are key to achieving our ESG
goals (environment, social, and governance).
To ensure sustainable development, they
must be well-informed about how we act
responsibly as a company—both internally
and in collaboration with our value chain.
We acknowledge that our company has
historically been male-dominated, which is
still reflected in our workforce, where 64%
of all employees are men. We are aware of
this imbalance and are actively addressing
it. We believe the organisation performs
better when it is diverse, as diversity
fosters innovation, more nuanced decisionmaking, and stronger teamwork. Changes
are already happening, but we aim to
accelerate progress.
In the autumn of 2024, we will launch a
learning platform to provide additional
training for our full-time employees. This
will include modules on our internal Code
of Conduct.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
We offer a wide range of job roles and
employ people from diverse backgrounds.
One of our core values is embracing diversity
and creating an inclusive environment for
different personalities and perspectives.
In our recruitment process, we make a
conscious effort to write job postings that
appeal to a broad audience, ensuring that
linguistic choices do not exclude potential
candidates. We also consider gender
diversity and have set a goal to have multiple
genders represented in job interviews.
