BIODIVERSITY
A necessary focus in an industrial context
Wine Group operates four flagship stores, a store in
Magasin in Copenhagen, and a warehouse in Odense.
For our stores, the opportunities to allocate land for
biodiversity initiatives are minimal, but there is potential at
the warehouse, which has a green area.
Next Year’s Group-Wide Goals:
Mapping green areas across all H.J. Hansen Group
locations, including the Wine Group warehouse.
Analysing how biodiversity can be improved in these areas
while respecting future operational needs.
Assessing the economic impact of biodiversity projects.
We acknowledge that real biodiversity development
requires time and continuous effort, where designated
areas must be allowed to evolve undisturbed over the
long term. Moving forward, we will integrate nature
conservation into our long-term development and
operational strategies.
