ORGANIC WINE
We are experiencing increasing demand for
wine and spirits produced with the highest
possible respect for nature in both cultivation
and production.
In the 2023/2024 financial year, 16.13% of all wine sold
was organic, while 3.24% of the sold spirits volume was
organic. This is a positive trend that we actively support.
We are focusing on training our staff to highlight our
organic product range across all sales channels, and we
are working to expand our portfolio with more organic
products.
At the same time, we observe that many of our suppliers
are already making more sustainable choices, whether
through increased biodiversity, optimised irrigation,
reduced pesticide and chemical use, or fewer additives
in the fermentation process. Many already follow organic
or biodynamic principles, but their products are not
certified. We are in ongoing dialogue with our suppliers to
encourage this development.
